Child Has Red Area On Buttocks And Hip. Help
Hi, my son will be four in December & is a very healthy boy. I ve noticed a palm sized red area on his buttock on Sunday & now there s another red mark on his hip area also. He s not banged it or bumped it, there s no rash ,spots or broken skin. He s not been unwell recently & hasn t had any coughs or colds. I d really appreciate if you can help me please.

Is it flat or raised? Is it itching? Has there been increase in such red areas since 6th Oct? He needs to get checked over by a Pediatrician to rule out conditions like Henoch-Schonlein purpura or bruising.
