Child Has Swollen Area On Thigh. Should I Use Fucidin Cream?
my eight year old child is allergic to mosquito bites and has a huge swollen area on his upper thigh...I am worried about infection..i have a hydrocortisone cream prescibed for some skin issues he had this summer or a fucidin cream that i got prescribed for my 4 year old due to staph infection on face.. should i use the fucidin?

good morning, if you are very sure the swelling is due to mosquito bite only and not for any other reason, fucidin cream is okay, but if u r not sure about it, get him examined by a doctor first, because if the swelling is big and if the child is limiting its activity accompanied by fever , it can be cellulitis of the lower limb. thank you.
