Child Have Asthma, Seasonal Allergies. Taken Flovent, Flonase, Xopenex For Cough. Due To Large Adenoids?

my children (8 and 10) have asthma and seasonal allergies. They have a gaggy cough since May. Flovent, flonase and xopenex are all being used. Could they have large adenoids and could this contribute. Mine were removed at 10 years old... and I'm searching for anything that could help. they did not have excessive ear infections

Welcome to HCM.
Asthma is always aggravate by allergen and seasonal variation is one of the commonest factor.
You have to be always watchful during seasonal changes.
Avoid oily,spicy,chocolates,ice creams and flavored drinks.
Take oral medicines like levocetrizine with montelucast during episodes.
Inhalation therapy is most helpful and more recommended now a days.
You can give bronchodilator and micro dose of steroid by rotacaps and inhalers.
Keep in touch with your doctor.

I Can feel your concern
i advise you to consult ENT doctor for proper clinical examination
use a face mask when go out
use a mast cell stabilizer like montelukast after consulting your doctor
use green tea and honey
saline gargles do help
steam inhalation is also effective
Add vegetables and fruits to diet
Avoid soft and cold drinks
