Child Having Bleeding Rectum After Passing Stools, Treated For Pinworms, Applied Ointment. Advice?
My three year old has been complaining about his bottom hurting(recum). It started bothering him two weeks ago.....I have taken him to his doctor. He was treated for pin worms . Well his bottom is still very irritiated and this morning the rectum was bleeding following or during bowel movement . I am applying creams to help skin heal, however I noticed it is very irritiated on the inside skin from my limited observation.
Such symptoms may be caused by anal fissure. Especially when pain appears during passing stool. It is advisable for you to consult it with surgeon. He should closely examine the anus. If fissure will be confirmed, you should drink more water, have fiber rich diet with stool softeners. It is extremely important to prevent constipations and do not push hard on stool. Hot baths with Quercus cortex can help as well. You can as a doctor to have Lignocaine Gel prescribed.
Hope this will help.
Regards.
