Child Having Continuous Tummy Ache, No Fever, Eats And Passes Stools Normally. What Is The Cause?
My 3 year old daughter has been complaining of a tummy ache for over a week now on and off. I thought she was just being a goof ball about it because she has no fever is pooping and eating normally but it has been over a week and still says at least 3-4 times a day that her tummy hurts. She always points to her belly button and maybe up to 3 inches above it as where it hurts especially when pressed on. She does not cry about it though.
Hi
As there are no other associated complaints like vomitings, loose motions, fever , burning micturition, constipation and distention, nothing to worry. Some children will complain this nonspecific tummy pains without any detectable underlying problems of abdomen. If she is having severe pain, pain occuring in sleep that wakes up or associated with the above complaints then consult your Pediatrcian.
