Child Having Green Color Watery Motion. Unable To Have Food. Advised Nutrolin B And Oflomac Forte. Reason?
Hello Doctor, My daughter is 2.5yrs old. She is having watery motion in green colour. She is advised to take Nutrolin B and Oflomac Forte for 4 days. She is having it for the past 4 days, but still the motion is in green colour. Why is it like this? And moreover she is not able to have food , if she is having anything, she gets stomach ache and she goes to the toilet and again the same green colour stool .
It seems to be an infection of the gut. The medicines that she received are good enough.
I would not be bothered if the color is green. It would be good to know the frequency of stool, consistency of the stool and presence of blood. These are something which helps to take good opinion. If the consistency is normal and frequency is less than 3 per day. You should not be worried at this moment.
I wish you wait and watch with the regular medicine. Keep your doctor posted. Liver function tests and Ultrasound abdomen would be the ideal next investigations to be conducted along with careful stool examination.
Hope this helps.
