Child Having Language Delayed Problem. What Could Be Wrong?
My granddaughter is 3 1/2 and is language delayed. She has recently started to talk in 2 and 3 word phrases but cannot hold a conversation with you. She is very smart and know her alphabets and can count to ten. What do you think may be wrong with her. She loves to climb and walked at 10 months. MC

Some children have delayed speech which improves on exposure to other children her age group. Have you checked her hearing status. As one of tge commonest cause is hearing problems. Once you fix any issues with hearing speech might improve. So I would say that this is normal
