Child Having Nose Bleed After Hitting A Pole. Medical Assistance Required?
My daughter was doing flips in her school and when she came up she hit her a pole. Her nose bled. When the school called me about 3 hours ago, they said that she is fine and the reason for the nosebleed is because she hit her nose. I am not exactly sure if she really did hit her nose or head thus the nose bleeding . They sent her back to her classroom and said she s fine. Should I bring her to ER? or her pedia?
If bleeding stops by its own, it does not need any active intervention. It`s better to rule out nasal bone fracture if there is pain/ swelling over the nose. If the child is active and doesnot complaint of pain don`t worry. usually children less than 6 years, nasal bone is flexible does not fracture so easily
