Child Having Purple Dots On Shin. Anything Serious? Had UTI, Breathing Difficulty. On Antibiotics
hello,
My seven months old son got four purple dots on the right shin. I found this picture on the internet and and his dots are identical with this, please see:
WWW.WWWW.WW How serious are these dots?
My boy had already two urinary tract infections in the past month, but the bacteria is not found in the urine. He has increased the number of leukocytes in the urine. He also had problems with the lungs and difficulty breathing, which had stopped about a month ago. Doctors have told us that it was some viral diseases. He currently drink antibiotics and on Tuesday we have to do an ultrasound voiding ..
Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern.
I could not see the web photos as they were blocked by our healthcare magic team. It is very difficult to comment on those dots without having a look. Increased number of leukocytes in urine may indicate urinary tract infection.
I think your doctors are trying to identify the cause of UTI as they are getting a MCU.
