Child Having Rash Bumps With Light Fever, Putting Aquaphor On It. Is It A Symptom Of Herpes Simplex?

Hi! My 6 year old is having little red rash like bumps maybe 1 to 3 then it turns into a water blister. Right at the inside of her nose a little sore. I think that part is better but it s still on her upper lip. She was congested with a cold before all this or when it started. Can t remember if she had a fever. Well not high enough for meds. I only gave her dime tap for the runny nose. That started last weekend. I have just been putting aquaphor on it. It sounds line the herpes simplex. Any suggestions on what I should do? Appointment? I was going to take her in Monday since it kept spreading.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
This lesion could be due to the viral infection that is quite resemble to the herpes virus and it often causes such lesion near the area of nose and mouth but it s extremely benign condition and will get cure very soon just do nothing, this is may be febrile herpes, I would advise to wait for few days if it does not come around then it need to be seen have nice day.
