Child Infected With Thread Worm. Gave Pripsen. Persisting Itching. What To Do?

I found a threadworm on my 2year old son on Monday (3days ago) I imediatly went out and bought Pripsen and treated myself, my son and other two children as well as the usual cleaning, changing bedsheets etc My question is that I havnt found any worms dead or alive in his nappy's since but he is still scratching so im concerned that it hasnt done anything because surely he wouldnt still be scratching 3days later and I would of seen the dead worms? Do I give him another dose now as well as the one in 2weeks?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Instead of giving pripsen, Albendazole medicine is better.
But do not go for self medication.
Go for stool test for ova and cyst.
If it is present, then consult your doctor and get prescription for worms.
Keep nails well cut and prevent your child playing in the dust.
Ok and bye.
