Child Is Snorting And Sniffling. Neck Pains. Allergic To Pollen. Eyes Are Sticky. Suggestions?
My 7 year old is snorting and sniffling constantly. Now this has come and gone. it occurs for about a month and then she stops for a little bit but then it comes back. Everyone once in a while she will turn her neck and cry and say she hurt her neck. it seems like she has a stiff neck. She has been to an allergist and she is allergic to pollen and that's it. I have been giving her Flovent through a spray for a dry cough but she really isn't coughing. The problem is her snorting and sniffling. I also took her to an ear, nose and throat doctor and he confirmed that everything is fine and that possibly it is a tick. But do ticks come and go? I don't want her on any steroids since it makes her hyper. She is also rubbing her eyes and says her eyes are sticky. Not sure what to do.
Hi thanks for your query at HCM He is suferring from allergy, you should give him steam inhalation , put olive oil with help of cotton in the nostrils and ise xylometazolinenasal spray alongwith an antihistamine eye drops after consulting your doctor. For neck pain give paracetamol and get your child examined by a doctor.
