Child Is Suffering From Typhoid
my baby is suffering from typhoid i hve done her widal test and report is titre of TO-1:320 TH-1:640 AH-1:40 BH-1:160.her antibiotic has started with sefixim two spoon daily for 2 wks.she has given one dose today.age-4'5 yre sex-f wt-18 kg.my ques is how could i take care of my baby at home.how much significant the titre is?

Hi.... Many thanks for consulting with HCM. Widal test titer us important only if its raising & done by tube method & not slide method. Blood culture is gold standard for diagnosing typhoid.
