Child Is Teething. Has Rash On Thighs And Bottom, Blisters On Feet. Fever. Suggestions?
My 2yo is currently teething (2yo molars) bottom 2 teeth. 2 days ago he came out in rash like pimples on the top of his thighs around the nappy area and some on his bottom. None on his genitals. He also has small round blisters on his feet & toes. Nothing on his face or around his mouth. He had a slight temperature yesterday. Any suggestions on what it could be? From Bec

Hi dear,
Probably your child is suffering from Hand foot mouth disease which has rash in hands feet and bottom. They also may have rash inside mouth. Mild fever can be there. But its not a serious disease. It will resolve on its own in few days. Just keep giving paracetamol for fever and calamine lotion for the rash. HE will be fine in few days.
