Child Squatting And Trying To Use Bathroom. Are These Signs That She Is Ready For Potty Training?

My daughter is almost 14 months old and while we were sitting at home this evening I heard her making noises like she was trying to poop. I looked over at her and she had taken her diaper off and had squatted over our rug and was trying to use the bathroom on the floor. I mentioned this to my mom and she told me that she was showing signs to start potty training but that just seems crazy to me, I mean she isn't even 14 months yet. I called her dad at work to tell him what she did and he said "well you know she has been holding herself and squatting a lot lately, maybe she is trying to show you she has to pee." So basically my question is, 1 are these signs that maybe she is ready to start training, and 2 are babies this little even mentally capable of learning how to go potty. She isn't saying anything to tell me she has to like she doesn't say potty or pee-pee everything is signs. Is her brain really developed enough to learn to potty and her bladder muscles are they strong enough? I wasn't prepared for this so soon, but then again I am a first time mom so I'm not sure. If she is showing signs how do I even begin to try to start training at this age? Thanks so much.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Babies usually need to be trained about use of potty or a separate place for passing motion by 15-18 months of age.
You can start your potty training by this age and they will get used to it soon.
Once you know that the baby is going to pass motion, better place her on a potty and wait for some time till passes motion.
After the baby gets used to it , she starts pointing to potty when she feels like passing motion.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
