Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The treatment given by him is right.
One more thing i would reassure is respiratory infection in a child is usually viral in origin and tend to be self limiting.
It only requires symptomatic care.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
