Hi, My daugher is almost four yrs old. She is currently taking Hydrocortisone , Levothyroxin, Valproic acid , Nev Tropin and Meletonin on a daily basis. She has Septo Optic Dysplasia . I know medications can have an effect on stools .. so thats why I included them. Lately she has been having dry sandy almost coffee ground like stools. It smells so much that i can tell she went from across the house almost instantly. The color seems reletivly normal though. It s not dark or mucousy. Its a medium brown color. but as i said VERY DRY and gritty like. Is this a cause for concern or will it pass? She has no known food allergies and drinks ALOT of fluids.
