Child Suffering From Severe Pain In Legs And Back, Fever And Vomiting. Tests Came Clear. What Does It Indicate?

My friend took her son to the hospital today bc he was complaining of his legs and back hurting to even walk. He was running a fever and eventually started throwing up. The ran test and got no answers. Sent him home with pain meds to take every 6 hours. He is home now but still in a lot of pain. He is 6. Is there anything to be overly concerned with to need to take him back

Hi,

What the child has is a type of viral fever

Continue paracetamol /pain killer.

Give lot off fluids and rest

If by next 2 days no improvement please go back to the doctor for reassurance after re evaluation.
