Child Taking Medicine For Loss Of Bladder Control. What To Do?
My neice has been taking this medicine that her doctor gave her for wetting her self that s what I thought would be helping her to control her problem but now that I know it is not good for her and her doctor gave this to her she s been taking this for 2 weeks and now I am so mad just what can I do about this she no longer takes this but why would she give her something like this knowing she has a disabillity.
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. What is her age? What medication she is recieved? Bedwetting is common in children and it can be managed without drugs in most of the children. It can be managed by positive reinforcement, behavior therapy, alarm systems. Some children will need drugs to control this problem. If the above measures fail, then drugs can be advised in children above the age of 6 years. I suggest you to consult the Pediatrician again do discuss your concerns. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
