Child Vomits Milk In The Morning Before Going To School, Used To Take Milk In The Sleep And Wake Up Late. Reason?
Hi I am facing a problem of late my 4 yr old has been vomiting her milk in the mornings before going to school earlier i never faced this problem except sometimes at nights when she would eat late and sleep with milk but during her holidays i would give her milk in her sleep early morning and she would get up late and no vomiting so is it now due to this change of waking her up too soon after giving her milk?
Hi
The problem of vomiting can be because of indigestion. Sleeping just after eating is a common cause for indigestion and it is always suggested that you should eat atleast 3-4 hours before you go to sleep. Although the problem may be because of the anxiety which may be your child facing because of changes of going to school. Try to make sure whether she is comfortable with going to school or there is some problem which she would like to share with you.
Another important thing is that you have to make it clear if she is having some type of milk allergy in the form of lactose intolerance. It is a common cause of gastric upset and can be problematic. Kindly consult your family physician to make sure she is not having any type of milk intolerance.
Thanks and hope this makes all your question answered and take care.
Hi.. Vandsouza.., The vomit would be caused due to indigestion...
since there was only one episode of vomit , need not worry...
Make a habit that child after meal or food at night , not to sleep immediately..
after a 1 to 2 hour child can sleep..
