Child Was Bitten By Spider. Already Have Staph Infection On Finger. Swollen, Red. Hole Is Getting Bigger. Pus Is Hard. Treatment?

my 8 year old son was bitten by a spider 3 days ago and he already has staph infection the bite is on his finger and its swollen, red starting to go up his hand ,the hole is getting a bit bigger where we squeezed out the pus that was hard a little bit of liquid came out.I'm not sure what kind of spider it was but should he go to the e.r ?

This seems to be secondry infection.

A good oral antibiotic along with some antiinflammatory agent is needed.Local infection can progress to sepsis if left untreated.

So I would suggest you to consult a doctor immediately for proper treatment.
