Child Wets Bed. No Relief From Medication. What To Do?
My son is 14 years old and still has problems wetting the bed . When he was 7 or 8 we tried medication and it didnt work . The doctor said he would grow out of it. He hasnt and we have tried not drinking anything after 7 pm ,an alarm, and avoiding milk late at night because that seems to make it worse. What do we need to do?

Hi,
In some individual autonomous system is not well developed at some age givingrise to this problem.
As he is 14 years he may not require to give milk at night.
Give liquid and milk a bit earlier.
Before going to bed ask him to go for urination for 3-4 times in last hour.
You can continue medicine of nocturnal enuresis whether working or not.
Gradually this problem will be solved.
Ok and take care.
