Child With DNS, Having Cold, Cough, Taking Memtosone Nasal Spray, Montairlc, Advised Septoplasty For Persisting Symptoms
my daughter is 6 year old and has high dns her left nasal septa is completily blocked.she has been taking memetosone nasal spray and montair lc for past three months .head ache and fever symptoms have gone away but couple of days back she had cold and since then she has been coughingthogh taking medicines...kindly help and suggest i am very worried... what is limited septoplasty ...has been suggested if symptoms persist
only for severe deviation of nasal septum needs surgical intervension like Septoplasty, that too after 14 years of age, as mid facial bone growth is complete only by that time, and child can have recurrent deviation if surgery is done before that. Don`t worry about surgery, if symptoms improve with corticosteroid nasal spray problem is not with deviated nasal septum, it is due to enlarged adenoids
