Child With Persisting Cough Despite Treatment. X-ray Showing PTB. Need A Relief

Hi I am in Manila Philippines , there is a small child 4 years old [ a relative of my wife] she is coughing all the time .
She has been to the doctor 3 times here with no real improvement . The x ray stated she has PTB , she was given an injection last month and sent home . Her coughing has got worse . two questions , 1: how to stop the cough or at least give her some relief from it . 2: is it possible to cure her of TB ? . Its very frustrating visiting a doctor here . 5 hours waiting and then the doctor asks irrelevant questions without consulting her past history . Gives her panadol and sends her home ! any advise would be appreciated

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum.
X -ray chest done and according to doctor, child is primary T B ( PTB)

Two question,
1 How to stop cough or some relief.
Cause of cough?
Most probably child may have,
a-- Allergy ,so congestion and cough.
b--Whooping cough ( in query it is mentioned that cough is continue.)
Usually in whooping cough ,face of child become red due to cough and after this patient develop vomiting and cough stops.
c-- Tuberculosis is one another reason.
2 If PTB please take a full course after the advise of physician.
Tubercular patient, if take complete treatment , they recover very rapid.
But before any tubercular treatment be sure that diagnosis is correct.
Hope I have answered your questions.
If further any question I will be happy to help.
Good luck for little daughter.
