Child With Reddish Pimples On The Toes And Feet. Have Pain. What Is It?
Hi Dr.,
My 2.5 years old boy lately has a few red pimples on his toes and the bottom of his feet (and one on his finger). It feels sore when he touches them but not itchy. They have a red color and they look as if they have a white head.
Please let me know what is that and what should i do about it. I would also appreciate knowing if it is contagious cause he has a baby sister which i am afraid that she would get the same.

hi ! it sounds like a bacterial rash. bacterial rashes are contagious & its better if you don't allow his baby sister to touch it or come in contact with it. you can just apply any anti bacterial ointment for 5 days & they will go away leaving a dark color. hope that will solve your query. take care.
