Child With Sore Stomach And Throat, White Patches On Tongue, Getting Molars With A Flap Of Gum, Using Salt Water. Is It Related To Fever?

7 years old. Fever, sore stomach, sore throat , white patches on tongue . She is getting her six year molars and they have a flap of gum over them right now that we are able to lift. Have been irrigating them with salt water, they are also white. Not sure if the swollen gums around the molars and white patches in the mouth are related to the fever, etc.... Her tonsils do not appear swollen.

Hi,
Thank you for your query,
Fever,sore throat and patches on tongue could be viral fever with tongue coating because of decreased oral intake of fluids and diet.
But white patches in oral cavity may be due to candidal infection called as oral thrush and requires antifungal application.
While erupting teeth the mucosal layer will be like a flap and this will heal.
So consult your Pediatrician to examine your child and oral cavity.
