Chills, Fever, Vomiting, Cold. Pregnancy Or Infection Symptoms?
hi..I was having chills and fever earlier this morning..ate something but I threw up..and also drank lemon juice with honey in the evening but I threw up again..have cold and sometimes felt chills and felt feverish..for sometime....all through the while my vomitings were watery...this was around 4 hrs back but haven t had any vomitings since then. Could i be pregnant? or is it a sign of infection?
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
Your symptoms are most likely due to an infection. The symptoms which you have described are not specific for pregnancy. I would advise you to take paracetamol tablets for the fever (whenever required) and keep drinking plenty of fluids. Eat a bland diet, avoiding spicy or oily foods. If you have any symptoms of acidity or heartburn, you can take an antacid syrup. If your symptoms become severe of if the fever persists for more than a week, I would advise you to see a doctor for a detailed medical evaluation.
Best wishes,
Dr. Sheeba Stephen
