Chlamydia, Azithromycin Dihydrate, Bartholin Gland Swollen And Painful, White Discharge
Hi there about two months ago I was diagnosed with chlamydia and I was given 4 tablets of 260 mg of azirhromycin dihydrate but I not I noticed that my bartholin gland is swollen and painful and there is a white creamy discharge coming out whenever I apply pressure to right lower side of my vagina is it possible that I still have chlamydia
The chances of persistences of the Chlamydia are low.The swelling in the glands could be due to after effects of the inflammation which would have led the secretions to get inspissated and block the ducts.Blockade of the ducts would cause retention of the secretions and cause swelling.
Wish you good health.
