Thanks for your query. After the
Mastectomy and extraction of Lymph nodes the
lymphatic system is compromised due to distortion, and lymphatic and venous flow is restricted which may lead to the development of lymph-edema. This is the usual outcome after surgery.
Though it’s not normal but can be help by
1.
Physiotherapy of the arms and affected areas
2. You are also advised to do light exercises of both arms periodically which just involve the movement of the arms, closing and opening of your fist, which is easy and can be performed during working as well.
3. Restrict your salt and take some mild diuretics like one tablet
Spironolactone in the morning.
I think with this your problem will be relieved, If you don’t get relief, plz let me know on pakheim@gmail.com pakheim@yahoo.com
Hoping that you will get benefit from my advice.
My prayers are with you.
Thanks and best regards.
