Cholesterol At 6.4 Level, No Other Problems. Am I At Risk At This Level?

Hi
I am 56 years old and my cholesterol level is 6.4 ,but my good cholesterol level as my doctor said is good. I have no other problems nor have a family history of heart disease. Eat very healthy!! I can only walk for about 20-30 minute every other days due to my didability. Am I at risk since I am at 6.4 level? Thank you!

Dear Sir
Thanks for writing to us.
1. A total cholesterol of 6.4 is relatively high. However now a days the risk is best assessed by LDL cholesterol rather than total cholesterol. Hence LDL cholesterol along with total clinical profile is required to understand the risk. Still, continue life style modifications to control your cholesterol levels.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
