Hi and thanks for the query,
It would be very unlike in this particular situation situation attribute any changes in Serum
Glycated hemoglobin and triglycerides to Doxycycline. Serum
HbA1c levels give ab approximate behaviour of blood
glucose for over a period of three months. In your case, with no history of liver disease, it would be very unlike that this drugs
metabolism changes these parameters, provided also that we do not have any signs of acute
liver damage described.
Its worth noting that results you present are all still within normal limits, and small changes should normally be observed during measurements, due to normal physiologic variations and tests that are used. Remember the tests or reagents in testing usually differ and the techniques might also differ. It is there fore not unusual to note different results.
However, when results are actually abnormal, it is necessary to consult your treating physician, for a clinical assessment and control of the specific tests.
Thanks as I hope this helps,
best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
