I have a cough that run for 3 weeks and my doctor advises me to have a chest x-ray PA. The result said that there were suspicious densities found in the upper part of my lungs, thinking it could be pulmonary TB, my doctor suggests for apicolordotic view. I did the test on the same day and the result is fine, (no infiltration both left and right). please advise.
HI I have gone through your mail as you have said that you are having chronic cough, and after advice of your doctor you have gone for X-ray chest (PA View)which put your doctor for suspition about pulmonary tuberculosis but Apicolordotic view denies for tubercular infection,In such cases you should go for detail clinical examination for both upper and lower respiratory tract (means structures like-Pharynx,Larynx,Trachea and bronchus) should be examine for Allergic and infective pathology, and some investigations like-culture and sensitivity of throat swab,X-ray paranasal sinuses, direct laryngoscopy and bronchoscopy. In this way one may reach the diagnosis than management may be plan.Thanks.
