Brief Answer:
need to do some evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Coughing for a month is definitely concerning. Sometimes viral infections can have prolonged cough but usually less than a month. You have taken antibiotics also, can you provide a list?

I would recommend a pulmonologist consult, getting blood work, sputum examination (if any), chest radiograph at the least. Further investigations may be required, based upon this. One condition is airway hyperreactivity, which improves with inhalers and/or steroids.

Recommend the same for your professor as well.

Till then at least you can do steam inhalation, it will give some relief.

Hope this helps.
Regards
