Chronic Diarrhoea, Stomach Pain, Gurgling Sounds In The Stomach. No Help From Flagyl. Solution?
Chronic diarrhea, mostly mornings for three months. Prescribed Flagly seemed to help a few days but diarrhea back. Now developing stomach pain. Also gurgling sounds for three months. Daughter had stomach flu one week prior to onset of my symptoms and also there was a water boil notice at home three weeks prior to onset of symptoms. Im lost since Flagly not working. No weight loss.

Since you have diarrhea for more than 3 months now, you need to undergo certain tests like a complete blood count, stool analysis, upper GI endoscopy with a deep duodenal biopsy, colonoscopy.
These tests will help to know whether it is a small bowel or a large bowel diarrhea and whether there is infection, IBD or malabsorption which are some of the common causes.
