Clear Slimy Mucus Coming From Anus. Took Laxatives For Constipation. What Could Be The Cause ?
I have a clear slimy mucus coming from my anus... I have been severely constipated as of late and have taken laxatives to help with this but this mucus discharge is a new thing... I went a week and a half without being able to have a bowel movement... Could this constipation be the cause of the mucus discharge if not is this something I need to be concerned about

I can understand your problem, the mucus which you are noticing could be due to applying force during defecation, is the first possibility second is protozaol infection, I would advise you to take Metronidazole 400 mg twice a day for 7 days and drink lot of water never ever apply any force during defecation every thing will be alright no need to worry have nice day.
