Cold, Cough, Pain In The Left Side. Pain While Sneezing. Cause?

During the period of a bad cold with lots of coughing / I realized I had a sharp and dull pain on my left side whenever I coughed - slightly above the navel line but to the left - after the cold and upon sneezing the pain is still apparent - I have seen some improvement to the point where I couldn't previously sleep on my left side but I can freely move and sleep on that side without trouble. 14 days later - I still have pain when sneezing - what is the cause of my problem?

Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
Pain while sneezing can be due to-
Allergic rhinitis.
Sinusitis.
Epistaxis.
I would advice to take frequent steam inhalation.
Avoid intake of cold fluids or bevearages.
Please do visit an ENT specialist for further reference.
Take care.
