Consistent Eye Problems And Migraine Since Car Wreck. What Needs To Be Done?
I am really scared of the results to my question. I was in a car wreck in 1988-1989; the breaks locked up on us while going around a corner on wet pavement and so we hit the ditch hard, and my head hit the dash board. Every since then, I have had eye problems and migraines. It has bee treated before along with a MRI and everything was ok but this time I have had a migraine every day on the left side where I had hit, it will not go away. What would suggest to be done and what does it sound like it possibly could be?
I understand your concerns. I suppose you had a concussion at the time of the accident. I do not believe that your current problem is related to the accident. We all heal over time and develop new diseases or disorders. What you are currently having sounds like a migraine that can be treated with migraine blocking medications called triptans. Also you may be able to prevent migraines using many kinds of medications, primarily beta blockers like propranolol, and others like topiramate etc. However for simple headaches, over the counter analgesics like aleev or motrin are helpful. I believe that you would benefit from visiting with a qualified doctor, a neurologist that can help solve your problem and maybe also a psychiatrist to help relieve your anxiety.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
