hello doctors i m harish agarwal frm india (mumbai) i m suffering a neck pain frm past 1 year ....i went to best 2 bst doctor all said it just a spasm u need 2 doo exercise everyday....n frm since 1 year i m doing it regurlarly ...is any there any good treatment for stiff neck .....n wat abt accupuncturee...plzzz sugest me sumthing due 2 which i can cure my problem ...

Neck pain can be due to Cervical spondylosis. You should get physiotherapy done for your neck pain.
Physiotherapy will help in relaxing the muscles and will give relief from pain.
Pain killers like Diclofenac along with muscle relaxant like Tizanidine 2mg, along with some antacid will also help. But these medicines should not be taken for prolonged periods.
It will be helpful if you get a scan of you neck done along with X-Ray Neck AP and Lateral view.
Doing hot fomentation and applying local pain relieving gel is also helpful.
You should take medicines only under medical supervision.
