Constant Demeaning Behavior, Diabetic. Any Medication That Can Help ?

I need direction. My grandmother, who is around 85 years old is causing extreme havoc and stress to my father. She has just recently been put into an assisted living facility b/c of the fact that she can not take care of her self by choice. She is a VERY smart and vindictive human being. Every doctor, nurse and facility in our surrounding living area that has been chosen to treat her will no longer treat her b/c of her constant demeaning behavior to the staff. She is not demented nor senile, she does it all on purpose for attention. Yes, she has diabetes and some health issues but she has a record of calling the ambulance 2-3 times a week for minor issues then raising havoc on the staff for trying to make her bath and take her medications. Is there not any recourse we can take to get her the help she needs and a doctor who can diagnose her for what she is exactly????

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
I can understand your problem of your geriatric grand mother. It is all common at that age, due to the senile changes in that age. The main among them is the ischemia and necrosis of the brain.
Of course it is quite unbearable, to the other family members.
Of course you can try to do so, if other wise you have to consult a geriatric physician, neurologist, or a psychologist.
Wishing for a peaceful life to all of you including your grand mother.
