Constant Growling, Grumbling In Intestinal Area, No Pain. Any Ideas?

I have almost constant growling, grumbling in my intestinal area. There is no pain, but feels like a thunderstorm is brewing in that area. The grumbling is so intense, my husband can put his hand on it and feel it. Doesn't really seem to be effected by eating or not eating. It can even keep me awake at night due to it not stopping.

Hi and welcome to HCM.
This is probably nothing. There can be functional motility disorder without obvious reason so it shouldnt concern you if you dont have any symtoms. But also some hormonal and methabolic imbalance can cause it as well. I suggest to do basic blood test to rule this out. The third option is some intraabdominal pathology which can be more or less serious and it can be found only by endoscopical methods.I siggest to try change dieatrry habbits as there can be some food allergy. If this isnt helpful you should do tests i ve mentioned.Wish you good health.
