Constant Migraine Headache, Taking Topamax, Esgic, Had Seizure. Is The Medicine Causing Seizure?

My daughter is 28 years old and has been suffering from a constant migraine headache for a month. She went to see a Neurologist the 9th of July and he put her on topamax and esgic. Then on the 16th her topamax increased and the 17th she had a seizure. Her dosage then went up on the 22nd and she had a seizure the 23rd and now today the 25th. She has never had a seizure before taking this medication and the Dr. said it was the migraines causing the seizure but she had migraines before the medicine and has not had seizures until the medicine. She has had a cat scan and an EEG. The EEG

was abnormal but she was having a migraine when the test was done. I am thinking it is the Topamax causing the seizure is this heard of?

Medications that you have mentioned do not cause seizure, rather they are somehow effective in seizure disorder

Migraine considered to be a seizure equivalent, conceptually. That means, people with migraine are susceptible to have some types of seizure and vice versa

There may be a common neurological disorder for example any space occupying lesion that may be causing both migraine and seizure

Clearly drugs that she is taking are not the cause for seizure

She must be in regular touch with neurologist
