I have grand mal seizures without any warning. I try and make sure that I don t take medicine that could cause me to have aa seizure. I have been given Cymbalta which reading in the medicine guide could cause me to have a seizure. I have told my Doctors that I m not gooing to take the medicine because it could cause my to have a seizure. I have 1 seizure in the last 3 years and all the doctor does is up my medicine. Hi,

You are right cymbylta can decrease the thresh hold for sezires and it should be used with great caution in people with history of seizures. You can discuss this with your doctor as if an alternative can be prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
