Constant Pain In Sciatica, Taking Physiotherapy With No Relief. Taking Oxycontin. Solution For Pain?
My mother is 82 years old and is in constant pain from sciatica . this is the second flare up in less than 6 months. both times she has been hospitalised because her pain is extremely severe and then sent to rehad for some physio for a couple of weeks. this time she doesn t seem to be improving at all and she has been having physio twice a week now for a month but is in immense pain and doesn t seem to be getting any better. She is taking oxycontin 10 mg at night and 15 mg in the morning and topping up with endone during the day. We are at our wits end and don t know how to help her.

I am a Homoeopath and so answering in a different line than the conventional medicine methods you were following so far. They will give you temporary relief from pain but not permanent cure. Homoeopathy promises cure.
There are very good homoeopathic remedies to treat sciatica in Homoeopathy. But just getting the diagnosis or the name of the disease I cannot suggest a remedy for your mother. Because the selection of the medicine for a patient is dependant on the constitution of the patient. Or we treat the patient and not the disease.
Therefore my advise is to take her to an expert Homoeopath at the earliest because you have agreed that the present medications and the physiotherapy is not doing any good to her. In Homoeopathy, we will take her whole case in detail. Her life situations also will be important. How she is affected by or how she is reacting to the present life situations are important. Her mental and physical make ups are to be considered.
