Constant Painful Pus Filled Lumps On Face. Recommend Ways For Quick Cure
I get continuously painful but not fully noticeable boil like lumps on my face mainly where my hair grows. They appear to be puss filled but don't seem like normal pimples. How do I stop this. And why does it keep happening? What is the fast way of curing the condition? It started after I left the military.
I read your query and undrstood your concern about lumps on your face.
You seem to have a bacterial infection of hair follicles called folliculitis. Apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin or fusidic acid. Consult with your physician and take a full course of oral antibiotic like XXXX 500 mg twice a day for 5 days or XXXX once a day for 5 days. Apply warm compresses over the swelling. Dont pop or squeeze the lesion as it may cause infection to go deeper.
In case of recurrent infection, get blood sugar investigated as diabetes is most common cause of frequent boils.
Hope I helped
