Constant Severe Cough, Hitting Of Upper And Lower Teeth While Coughing, Pain In Neck, Jaw And Ear, Swollen Throat. On Advil. Advice
I have had a cough for some time. I take allergy drops,I take Nexium, I cough endlessly. The teeth (upper and lower) right side of my mouth have started to RRALLY bother me. I figured it was from coughing too hard and teeth are hitting together. But now I have extreme pain into neck, jaw & ear.....on right side. Feeling like the throat is swollen when I swallow. I just to Advil. I do not know who to call. .....ENT or dentist. I have ice on my face. Teeth also hurt when touched together. What can I do?

Constant Severe Cough, Hitting Of Upper And Lower Teeth While Coughing, Pain In Neck, Jaw And Ear, Swollen Throat. On Advil. Advice
Hi, Thanks for writing your query. After reading your post, it seems that you might be having upper respiratory tract infection and needs medical attention. You should get a throat swab culture done to know the infective organism and the appropriate antibiotic for it. You should take an antihistamine like cetrizine 10 mg along with a decongestant like phenylephrine. Continue taking advil after meals. I would also suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined by an ENT specialist. I hope this is helpful to you. Thanks.
