Constant Strange Sleeping Like Feeling In The Head Post A Fall. What Could Be The Cause?
Hi i was playing basketball a few months ago and went for a dunk attempt,i lost my grip on the rim and feel hard in sitting position. My head really hurt, but i did not lose consciousness our anything just felt like a minor headache . Now i constantly have a strange sleepy like feeling in my head. It may be because of my contacts but I m not entirely sure.
At the offset i would like to assure you that it may be just a simple problem and you have nothing to worry about.
Regarding the injury which was quite severe but did not lead to unconsciousness, you must understand that most head injuries do not cause unconsciousness but they can still be severe.
A condition called subdural hemorrhage can occur which is reflected in mild lethargy and heaviness of head and nothing else but is quite serious and should be treated as soon as possible.
As far as your condition is concerned i would advise you take a CT of the brain and get back to me or any ENT with the reports.
Take steam inhalation and do not strain
take care and get well soon
