Constant Swollen Gland On Left Side Of Neck, Intermittent Sore Throat With Itching In Ear. Glandular Fever ?
Constant swollen gland on left side of neck and intermitent sore throat on the same side with itchyness in ear. No infection! Also suffering from exhaustion - on and off for 3 years. Eat a good diet and get plenty of sleep. Also work full time and have 2 children under 5. Had similar feelings 10 years ago and was diagnosed with glandular fever . also had obce before this.

Hello,
Such nodes are commonly due to infection in the local area.In your case since there are throat symptoms possible cause is throat infection.May be you can consider a clinical evaluation by ENT doctor.
Doctor would want to get few blood investigations and if needed swab from throat to confirm infection.
Doctor might also want to get a sonography of neck done if he/she suspects it's something other than swollen gland.
Ear and throat are connected by Esthetician tube , so infections can spread either way.
Regards.
