Constipation, Blood In Stool, Abdominal Discomfort And Pain, Family History Of Colon Cancer. What Is Wrong?

I think I may have colon cancer. I have noticed that I am currently showing the following symptoms: constipation, blood in your stool, persistent abdominal discomfort, and a feeling that my bowels don't empty completely. Whenever I go to the bathroom (and even when I don't) I have dark-red blood that runs out of my anus. I am concerned and scared. I have a family history of colon cancer. I earliest signs that started to show was about 2-3 weeks ago, that was just mild cramping in my abdomen that I thought was because of my intestines trying to digest the food I had eaten. Now I am showing all the signs I have listed. I would go to my doctor but I no longer have health insurance that covers my doctor and I don't want to sit in the ER for hours. I hope that you can help me.

Don't worry first of all. Before jumping into a conclusion, try to see a general surgeon and he will do a per rectal examination to rule out any fissure in anal region or any haemorrhoids or any possible fistula, cause this can also cause your bleed during defecation. So if any one of this is the problem, you can take any laxatives like cremaffin plus 2 tea spoons in the night and increased high fibre diet and a sits bath which involves a basin of luke warm water and 5 tea spoons of betadine solution to d water and sit on it for 10 mins 3 times a day and this shud solve your prob by a week. If it is a fistula or a haemorhoid, the above treatment followed by plan for invasive procedures like haemorhoidectomy or a fistulotomy or a lateral sphincterotomy depending on d diagnosis. But if it still persists in 5 days. Then u hv no choice but to undergo a colonoscopy to rule.out colonic malignancies.
