Contact With A Bat, May Be Bitten. Will Contract Rabies?

Hi I awoke last night at 3 am with a bat doing circles in my tiny room. I eventually jumped out opened door and he flew outside, but not before dive bombing me a few times. I am quite sure there was no physical contact while I was awake but cannot say same for when I was asleep. I did not find any bite marks. I cannot seem to get the thought of possibly contracting rabies out of my mind. I have board exam coming up,and stress is already high, perhaps some one here has some experience with ID and can shed some more light on what they would do in my situation. Of note I went to walk in clinic and they stated that guidelines recommend against vaccination due to no obvious physical contact however how can I be sure that none such existed while I was asleep?...

Hi, it is true that Rabies can be contracted through bats. If there are no bite marks and you had a sound sleep, it is very unlikely you were bitten. A physical contact with a bat is out of question as they are guided by ultrasonic waves and never accidently hit objects.
So since there has been no obvious contact you need not worry and rather concentrate on your upcoming exams.
All the best :)
