Cough, Chest Hurts, Lungs Hurts, No Fever. Bronchitis?
I have a very mild cough and it hurts my chest when I do cough. If I put slight pressure on my chest it also hurts my lungs area. More so on the area above my heart. I don t have a runny nose or fever or anything else. Could it be the onset of bronchitis?
Hello
Thanks for using HealthCareMagic
I would be pleased to answer your question
You seem to be having a chest infection with focal involvement of the lung tissue and the covering of the lung called pleura . The area pains when you cough. The only other possibility includes the inflammation of the chest ribcage muscles or the cartilage ( chondritis) .
I would suggest you should surely show a chest physician who would examine the area and ask for certain investigations if need be like pulmonary function test or chest x ray .
thanks and take care
